Salt Flats Log – Monochrome Madness Week 34

Hello all and happy Tuesday 🙂

This is my submission for this weeks Monochrome Madness Challenge, which is curated by the hard working Leanne Cole and Laura Macky.  Please visit Leanne’s site to view the other excellent monochromatic captures in this challenge, as well as her own incredible photography and excellent stories.

I was at the Bedwell Bayfront Park last week.  It’s located halfway down on the bayside of the San Francisco Peninsula near Menlo Park.  This wildlife area is not only full of beautiful vistas of the San Francisco Bay, but also the salt flats from an old dump site.  These logs were just laying alongside a dry creek bed seemingly surrounded by snow. But believe me…it was salt…and lots of it.   Cheers!
