Rain Forest Mist (Monochrome Madness Challenge 2-12)

As much as I prefer my color images from the forest in Mt. Tamalpais State park, this challenge inspired me to go back and do a black and white interpretation of this very green landscape.  At first I thought the mist in the air would spoil the contrasting features of the trees.  But what it did was to add a nice soft glow instead.

Many thanks again to Leanne Cole for curating this wonderful challenge we lovingly call Monochrome Madness :-))
