4th of July-San Francisco Style

Good morning everyone,

Another 4th of July has come and gone and last nights show was seemingly very typical of SF.  We had a layer of thick fog a hundred or so feet up.  I was shooting with several of my Google Plus friends as we watched the show from Fort Baker across the Bay.  The fireworks that exploded above the clouds couldn’t be seen at all, yet I was able to capture the lower half of the mid-level explosions.  The lower level explosions were the most visible. The effect with the fog overall though was a bit different, yet interesting.

For those of you that celebrate America’s birthday, I hope you enjoyed your day :-)) Cheers!!!

    Happy 4th! Nice fireworks 🙂

  2. Nice capture if only the lower half. It does make it interesting and different. I was shooting from the fantail of the carrier Hornet in Alameda. Toooooooo far away but light yes. At least this year you got some fireworks compared to last year’s.
