Lasting Effects

I went down to China Beach, located just in the Sea Cliff area of San Francisco, to watch the sunset.  Well, as you can see, it was pretty overcast.  Yet at the last moment, with the sun dipping low on the horizon, a bit of color popped through.

I made a 4 sec exposure, using a 10 stop ND filter in order to smooth out the waves, adding a pretty cool effect.  This was my first time photographing at this small beach and I thoroughly enjoyed being at the water again.  Cheers!
